CR Belouizdad Suspend Sead Ramović Amid Internal Dispute

Algerian giants, CR Belouizdad have suspended their head coach Sead Ramović until further notice following a dispute between the coach and the club’s leadership, with a disciplinary meeting scheduled for Tuesday to determine the next course of action.

According to information from Algeria, the situation began when the club president, Badreddine Bahloul, invited Ramović to a meeting scheduled for 10 p.m. The coach was reportedly instructed to attend the meeting alone. However, Ramović claimed he did not receive any official notice, email, or formal communication regarding the meeting. He subsequently requested proper written notice and asked that the meeting be held during official working hours.

Tensions escalated further when the club president allegedly attempted to enter the dressing room while Ramović was conducting a team meeting focused on reviewing the previous match and preparing for the next fixture. The coach insisted that the session continue without interruption, stressing the need for focus and privacy, and asked all club officials to wait until the meeting ended. This stance reportedly did not go down well with the club president.

Following the incident, the club moved to suspend the coach pending further review.

Ramović’s lawyer has since written to the club, citing possible violations of FIFA regulations, particularly regarding professional conduct, communication procedures, and employment protocols within football institutions.

The coach is now expected to appear before the club’s disciplinary committee on Tuesday, where a final decision will be taken regarding his future at CR Belouizdad. The situation continues to develop and could potentially escalate into a legal or contractual dispute depending on the outcome of the meeting.
