Nigeria Women’s Volleyball team, on Thursday suffered a 3-0 (25-17; 25-13; 25-18) defeat to the host, Cameroon in their second group game of the ongoing 2023 African Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship in Yaounde, Cameroon
The Nigerian side started the tournament strongly on Wednesday thrashing Mali 3-0 to send a warning signal to other teams in the group.
They however fell to the firepower of the host, Cameroon who also won their opening game 3-0 against Burundi.
The Coach Samuel Ajayi-led side will next face Burundi on Friday at 1 PM Nigerian time.
