celebrates thanksgiving mass
Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, has again, extended felicitations to the immediate past Chief Judge of Edo State, Hon. Justice Joe Itsebaga Acha.
The retired Chief Judge will be celebrating a special thanksgiving mass this week Saturday, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Benin City, as part of his meritorious retirement from active service.
The Deputy Governor in his goodwill message, personally signed by him, stated:
“It is my pleasure to felicitate with Your Lordship on this momentous occasion of the thanksgiving service in God’s house, in celebration of your meritorious retirement from the Judicial Service of Edo State of Nigeria”.
“That you rose through the ranks to attain the zenith of your robust career as Chief Judge of our dear State, is an attestation to hard work, discipline, diligence and benevolence of Almighty God”.
Shaibu extolled Justice Acha for his unblemished record during his active service years, while commending him for his exemplary conduct.
“I am aware that all through your service years as a judicial officer and a judge in the temple of justice, you discharged your sacred duties without fear or favour”.
“For me, it’s heart-warming to know that you did not only exit with accolades but in good health and sound mind”.
The Edo State’s number two citizen wished the retired Chief Judge well in his future endeavours.
He went on to say: “Permit me to wish you all the best in your future endeavours and patriotic service to our dear nation, Nigeria in particular and humanity in general”.
“Once again, hearty congratulations”, Shaibu added.
