After 15 days in the intensive care unit of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Sunshine Stars has announced the sad untimely death of their assistant kit manager, Taiwo Dosunmu, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
The club revealed on X via a post on Saturday morning.
Sunshine Stars, were attacked by unknown gun men enroute Benin city at the Benin-Ore expressway for matchday 13 tie against Bendel Insurance on December 7. Unfortunately, the team bus was attacked with rain of bullets of which one of the bullets, hit Dosunmu.
Dosunmu in the ICU of UBTH received extensive and expertise care but gave up the ghost on Friday.
