Barau Football Club has parted ways with its Head Coach, Ladan Bosso, with immediate effect.
The decision was communicated in an official letter dated December 30, 2025, following a review of the club’s performance in the first round of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
According to the club, the move is aimed at re-energising the technical department and improving performance in line with the club’s objectives.
Before he was asked to step aside, Bosso had recommended that 18 players be retained for the second stanza of the NPFL season.
Bosso has been directed to hand over to his immediate assistant coach, while all club property in his possession is to be returned to the club secretariat.
The club appreciated his services and confirmed that all contractual entitlements will be handled accordingly.
The clarification was contained in the caption accompanying the official statement released on the club’s Facebook page and signed by the Barau FC Media Director, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, on December 31, 2025.
