Newly promoted side, Bendel Insurance of Benin will feature when four traditional football clubs in Nigeria match up against each other in a money-spinning Super Four.

The tournament organized by the Interim Management Committee of the Nigeria Professional Football League has been scheduled for Lagos from 1st December to 4th December 2022.

Other traditional NPFL teams confirmed for the tournament include Enyimba International FC, Rangers International FC, and the Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan (3SC).
The tournament planned as one of the revival steps of the NPFL is sponsored by Tingo Media with a whooping N100 million prize money up for grabs.

According to a source, the tournament will see winners go home with fifty million naira while the second and third will cart home thirty million naira and twenty million naira respectively.
All teams selected based on their traditional history in the league meanwhile will go home with 10 million naira in appearance
