As the maiden edition of the Julius Aghahowa Super Cup kicks off on Friday, October 28, the organizing committee has reached a partnership agreement with Bluelight Emergency Medical Services.
BlueLight in the partnership deal signed on Thursday evening will provide medical services – emergency, players on and off-field treatment, doping tests and other services during the 3-day tournament.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mr Darlington Ogbeifun said the partnership is a good thing to come as it’s required of such a tournament to have everything in place including adequate medical experts who will attend to any player’s medical needs and beyond in case of any emergency.
The medical service team have however arrived at the venue of the match to carry out their responsibilities as required.
Bluelight Emergency Medical Services, situated at Moses Obasuyi street, Ugbor, GRA Benin City, is a private healthcare establishment, that has been set up to provide access to safe and prompt care at the time when patients need it most.
