The stage is set for the Semi-finals of the Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament held in Benin City as the quarter-finals saw eight fixtures played across two venues producing 18 quality goals and two clean sheets.
FC Robo Queens 6-0 Confluence Queens

It was another morning of rain in Benin and as the floodgates of heaven opened upon the Ancient City, goals were unleashed on Confluence Queens of Kogi State. Until the quarter-finals, Confluence Queens were unbeaten but they were humiliated at the Western Boys High School today in a six-goal thriller m Shukarat Oladipo, Rukayat Oladiti, Nwokodia Favour, Kehinde Akinwande and Taiwo Lawal got their names on the scoresheet.
Nasarawa Amazons 3 -2 Naija Ratels

Dooshima Tarnum’s winner broke Naija Ratels’ stubborn resistance as the Nasarawa Amazons’ second-half strike cancelled Naija Ratels’ two-goal equaliser and clinch a place at the tournament’s semi-final. Before halftime, Nasarawa Amazons were comfortably leading, but with shocking goals in the space of three minutes, Naija Ratels levelled the game. Just like when they last met in Benin, Nasarawa Amazons prevailed.
Edo Queens FC 4-0 Heartland Queens FC
GOALS : Eunice Godwin 40′, 44′, 46′, Kelechi Orgii’ 76′ (OG)
Edo Queens won 4-0 at the UNIBEN Sports Complex against Heartland Queens, thanks largely to Eunice Godwin’s brilliance, with the new signing scoring a brace to give the Obaseki Girls a good lead before the break and completing her hat-trick in the 46th minute. An own goal in the 76th minute sealed Edo Queen’s victory.
Royal Queens FC 1-2 Delta Queens
GOALS : Ijeje Favour 30′ (p) – Chinansa Agoh 47′, Vera Samuel 71′
Royal Queens of Warri put up a good fight against Delta Queens in a Delta derby played at the Western Boys High School mini-stadia in Benin. The defence of Royal Queens kept out a misfiring Delta Queens until a counterattack from Royal Queens led to a penalty kick in favour of the Warri Based side. Ijeje Favour sent Delta Queen’s goalie the wrong way. Two minutes after the restart of the game, Chinansa Agoh controversially netted the leveller. The comeback was completed in the 71st minute via Vera Samuel’s header.
