Super Eagles goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie, has registered confidence that Singidia Black Stars will record a victory in their CAF Champions League second preliminary round fixture against Flambeau du Centre of Burundi, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

Tanzania’s Singida Black Stars touched down in Burundi on Friday evening for the October 19 first leg of the round, looking for a place in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup. The match takes place at 10 pm at the Stade Municipal de Muyinga
Amas, speaking to Ayoola Adeleke of platinumnewsng.com, expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, promising a strong performance while acknowledging the challenge of playing away from home.
“We are settled in and we are ready for the match. We are here on a mission and that alone our focus is, to get a favourable win here so that we can return home and just entertain our fans in the second”

The former Bendel Insurance goalkeeper is optimistic that his team is capable of getting the desired result and making the second leg a mere formality.
“This is not the first time we have played an away game in this competition, so we know what’s right for us to do and get what we want. I’m optimistic that with what the technical team have done, we are good to go.”
The Tanzanian side advanced to this stage after a 3–1 aggregate victory over Rayon Sports of Rwanda in the previous round.
Amas Obasogie was on the bench for the Super Eagles when the team beat Benin Republic 4-1 to book the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff.
