The chairman media/ publicity and ICT committee of the Edo State Football Association, Kennedy Ugbodaga has commended his fellow board members for the good job done so far with the ongoing state FA Cup.
The football administrator cum sports journalist was full of praises for his colleagues on his return from Accra, Sunday morning from the just concluded 13th Africa games held in Ghana.
He said this is a new chapter for football in the state, the people are yet to see our best, and our aim is to make the state the hub of football in Nigeria. He appreciated the participating teams of the FA Cup for their cooperation and understanding, asking them to keep the support coming for the board of the Football Association.
“I want to sincerely thank my fellow board members for a good job so far with the FA Cup, this is commendable and we are on the right track, this is a new chapter of football in the state, and I want to ask football teams across the state, stakeholders of the game to keep supporting the board, our aim is to make the state the hub of football in Nigeria.
It would be recalled that the young, vibrant Kennedy Ugbodaga, a photojournalist was in Ghana for the just concluded 13th Africa games after his earlier duties at the senior AFCON tournament held in Ivory Coast in January 2024.
