The Confederation of African Football (CAF) School Football Development Initiative continued on Monday in Lagos, Nigeria, with Epe Grammar School being the next beneficiary. The initiative aims to promote football development among young students and provide them with the necessary resources to excel in the sport.
The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) played a crucial role in selecting Epe Grammar School as one of the beneficiaries of this initiative. The LSFA Assistant Secretary Kayode Okuneye and Mr Adekoya, Epe DFA Chairman, did an outstanding job in ensuring the program’s success.

The Principal of Epe Grammar School, Mr Ajayi Sulaiman, expressed his gratitude to CAF and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for choosing their school. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting football development among young students.
Some notable old students of Epe Grammar School include Hon. Wale Raji, a Current Member of the House of Representatives representing Epe Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, and Barrister Tunde Doherty.
The gesture is part of CAF’s efforts to promote football development in Africa. The program will benefit selected schools across the 36 states and the FCT.
