After Bournemouth sacked Scott Parker, the hunt begins for the next manager of the Cherries and several names have been pencilled down but one name has been reverberating across the space now and that is Burnley’s former manager Sean Dyche.

Sean Dyche is a seasoned Premier League manager with a distinct style that looks to be what many have touted or termed overtime an ultra-defensive route 1 style, Sean Dyche started his coaching career with the hornets “Watford” where he spent just a season before moving to the Clarets, Burnley where he spent ten (10) years from 2012- 2022 and he guided them to promotion into the Premier League in his first season in charge before getting relegated in their first stay under Sean Dyche in the Premier League.

He guided Burnley back to the Premier League in the 2015/16 season where he steadied the ship and further guided them to a Europa League finish in 2018 for the first time in over half a century and he additionally secured their best finish to a top-flight season finishing seventh in the Premier League since 1974 a season they finished 6th.

He is well lauded for his successes in Burnley but he was ousted after he couldn’t save the Clarets from seemingly drowning and getting relegated from the top flight in the 2021/22 season.

One thing is certain he is a vibrant manager and he understands how to battle his way through the relegation dog fight also out of seeming danger of relegation, it is left to see whether he would be the man to lead the Cherries, Bournemouth out of the murky waters and crisis that they are currently in.
