Nigeria Volleyball Premier League on Break as Offa VC continues Cinderella run

OFFA VC is currently top of the men’s table standing on Day 4 of the ongoing 2022 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League in Akure on Monday.

OFFA VC is the only club yet to taste defeat with wins over defending champions, Kano Pillars, Nigeria Police Force, Kwara United VC and Sunshine Spikers emerging with a total of 12 points from four matches.

NSCDC sit in the second position with 10 points winning three matches and losing to the Nigeria Police Force. Nigeria Customs Service occupies third place with nine points.

Nigeria Correctional Service is in fourth place with six points winning two games and tasting two defeats. Nigeria Police Force who started the league in high spirit is presently fifth with two wins and two defeats with a total of six points.

In the sixth position are COAS Spikers with four points while newly promoted Kwara United are in the seventh position with a total of four points recording one win and three defeats.

Defending Champions, Kano Pillars have won just one game and recorded three defeats accumulating a total of three points. Tournament host, Sunshine Spikers have three points winning one game and losing three while Kada Kings are trailing at the bottom table after losing three matches and recording one victory with a total of 3 points.

Matches are set to resume on Wednesday.
