Moses Adukwu was left shocked in a 2-0 defeat to Remo Stars in Ikenne in matchday 5 of the NWFL. Newly promoted Remo Stars Ladies clinched their first ever win over Edo Queens at the Remo Stars Stadium.
Shocked by the result, Edo Queens manager Adukwu will have to bounce back and the year on a winning note as he welcomes Delta Queens. The Benin based team are second in Group B of the NWFL, with nine points from five games having won thrice and lost twice.
DELTA QUEENS
Coached by Tosan Blankson, the defending champions of the NWFL will be hoping to pick possibly their second victory of the season after drawing three, winning one and losing one game this season.
With six points, sixth placed Delta Queens has found it hard to score this season with only four goals from five matches. The six time NWFL champions failed to pick up a win over Robo Queens as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
PREDICTIONS
Moses Adukwu has a uphill task to face, however one must not be oblivious of the current form of his opponent. On paper, Edo Queens are favorites but derby is always a keenly contested tie.
