NWFL24: We were just fortunate – Moses Aduku reacts

Head coach of Edo Queens has termed his team as “just fortunate” after a 4-1 victory over Rivers Angels in matchday 10 of the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership 2023/24 season, platinumnewsmg.com is reporting.

Osigwe Goodness’ hat trick and Amarachukwu Onuorah’s lone goal was enough to secure the win for the Benin ladies despite Rivers Angels’ Peace Effiong  netting a goal.

Reacting after the game, Moses Aduku admitted that the seven time NWFL Champions were a tough opponent that gave his side a run for their money as he termed his side fortunate.

“The Rivers Angels players gave us a run for our money, they played so well and we were just fortunate to use our chances.”

Edo Queens now sits third on the NWFL Group B log with 18 points from 10 games.
