PLATINUM CUP 23′: Group Stage Comes To An End In Style



The last group stage match of Platinum Cup 2023 was a crucial encounter, with teams involved fighting for the bragging rights of the competition. The match between Oloke United and Genesis had all the ingredients of a classic, with both teams evenly matched and determined to secure a win.


Oloke United 0-1 Genesis

Oloke United started the match brightly, taking control of the midfield and dictating the tempo of the game. The match continued to ebb and flow, with both teams creating chances at either end. As the clock ticked down, the tension on the field was palpable from the BJ FC team. It was Douglas Idahosa’s side who eventually broke the deadlock, with a late goal that sent the BJ FC bench into raptures.
