Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu has congratulated Comrade Joe Ajaero on his emergence as the new President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC.
In a statement personally signed by the Deputy Governor, he stated: ” l am profoundly delighted to congratulate a great friend and brother on your election and assumption of office as President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC”.
I have no doubt whatsoever that you have the capacity, competence and charisma to take the Nigerian labour movement to the next level”.
Shaibu described the electoral process that produced Ajaero as president as flawless, rancour-free and a demonstration of implicit confidence in his ability to lead the movement.
“That you emerged by an overwhelming consensus of delegates and stakeholders of organized labour attest to the trust and confidence reposed in you by your comrades”.
“My authentic Comrade, permit me to say that your election symbolizes a breath of fresh air not only for the labour movement in Nigeria but for all Nigerians who mean well for our great country”.
Shaibu expressed optimism that the NLC President will bring his vast experience to bear in piloting the affairs of NLC in the next four years while praying for a successful tenure in office.
“My esteemed brother-comrade, l am optimistic you will make a positive difference as the new helmsman of NLC, especially at this critical time of our dear country, Nigeria.
“It’s my sincere prayers that the good Lord imbue you with strength, wisdom and divine guidance as you continue to join in the collective struggle for a new Nigeria of our dreams”.
