Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu, Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Ward 5 in Oredo local government area of Edo State, Tunde Igbinoba.
Speaking during the visit, Shaibu expressed his condolences and that of his office to the family of the late PDP Ward Chairman, while assuring the bereaved family of support and solidarity.According to him, “his death remains a great loss not only to the family but to the PDP and Edo State as a whole. I salute him for his invaluable contributions and commitment to the development of our party, the PDP and Edo State.”

“Though my visit may seem belated. From day one, the agreement was that I should focus on Edo North when it comes to party and political matters. And going by that arrangement, Oredo was out of the picture. It was not until recently that I got to know that no formal visit has been made since the unfortunate incident, hence, my decision to visit today.”
