Swifty and pacy Kylian Mbappe sets a new record in PSG’s smashing victory.

One of the fastest goals in football history was scored on Sunday night with Kylian Mbappe putting home the ball into the back of the net after 8 seconds. Kylian Mbappe scored just immediately after kick-off with a total of four passes leading to the goal making that goal the 43rd fastest goal scored in football history and equalling the Ligue 1 fastest goal scored by Michel Rio in a game involving Caen VS Cannes in 1992.

An in-form Kylian Mbappe scored this goal in quick time off an assist from Lionel Messi during Paris Saint Germain’s 7-1 humiliation of Lille. The Frenchman lobbed the ball over his team’s opposition goalie, Leo Jardim with seeming ease and panache to open the floodgate of goals to be pumped into the net of the Les Douges.

The game seemed to have put ice on the fire of a seeming rift brewing between Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr as the Brazilian also had a hand in one of Kylian Mbappe’s goals scored in the smashing victory, Neymar scored a brace and bagged a hat-trick of assists while Kylian scored a hat-trick.

Others who also scored for the Parisians include Lionel Messi in the 27th minute and Achraf Hakimi in the closing stages of the first half while Jonathan Bamba scored the only goal for the Les Douges.

Christopher Galtier the opposition’s former manager speaking after the game said that the idea was taken from the club’s Under 19 team. “The goal after 8 seconds? It was a move that we worked on, we found footage from different leagues, and even from our youth team in the Youth League who managed to score that kick-off against Salzburg last season. We talked about it yesterday, we saw the footage, we practised it in training, obviously when it succeeds like that after 8 seconds, it’s very satisfying.”

He continued his speech with a congratulatory message to the team for their fantastic display. “Congratulations to them, to my staff and to the players for having dared to try it and for having succeeded! It put us in the match, it hurt the opponent and afterwards when the team is serious like tonight things are much easier.”

“I’m very happy, very happy with this match, but we’re already looking forward to the next one. Today was a great game and we are very happy. Kylian’s goal? Yes, we had worked on it. We worked on all the details, and we are very happy with the way the team played today. We are working well in training. Now we have to take it game by game”.

That win means that Paris Saint Germain has maintained their 100% flawless start to the season with three wins from three matches scoring a cumulative seventeen (17) goals and conceding three (3).
