Eleven Super Falcons players have reported to camp as the team officially opened camp on Wednesday, 25th February 2026, to begin preparations for the upcoming double-header international friendlies against the Cameroon Women’s National Football Team, Platinum News is reporting.

Among the early arrivals in camp are Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, returnee Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene and Glory Ogbonna, Christy Ucheibe, Gift Monday, Joy Omena Oghogho, Esther Onyenezide, Fatima Oloko, Precious Christopher, Favour Nkwocha, and Oluwatosin Demehin.
According to the team’s media officer, the team is scheduled to train at 4:30 PM today at a yet-to-be-announced venue.
The friendlies against Cameroon are expected to provide valuable match fitness and tactical preparation as the Falcons continue to build momentum for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco which begins in three weeks.
The Super Falcons were initially scheduled to participate in a four-nation tournament hosted by the WAFU-B, but the tourney was cancelled and the team fell back to an emergency double header against the Lionesses of Cameroon.
With this game, Justin Madugu will have enough time to test the newly invited players and know how many of them would be able to interpret his philosophy as the WAFCON beacons.
