2026 U-20 World Cup: 19 Falconets Jet Out to Kigali

Coach of the Nigeria U-20 Women’s team, Moses Aduku has released the travelling squad to Kigali for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.

The Falconets commence their journey to next year’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup with an away match against Rwanda on Sunday, September 21 in a second qualifying round first leg in Kigali.

The team is scheduled to depart the country on Thursday for the match scheduled for the Kigali Pele Stadium.

The second leg is billed for Saturday, September 27, at the Lean Salami Stadium, Ibadan.

Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football has appointed Sierra Leone arbiter, Aminata Fullah as the centre referee for the match. She will be assisted by Liberian Hannah Lydia Moses as the first assistant referee and fellow Sierra Leonean, Fatmata Mansaray as the second assistant referee. Love Tuu Wehyee from Liberia will serve as the fourth official with Militna Ivanete Amrie from Seychelles serving as the match commissioner and Amegee Aissata Ameyo, the referee assessor.

Travelling players are
Christiana Uzoma, Jane Ijirigho, Oluchi Ohaegbulem, Tumininu Adeshina, Miracle Usani, Faridat Abdulwahab, Esther Ezekwugo, Folashade Adegbemile, Taiwo Afolabi, Joy Igbokwe and Favour Nkwocha.

Others are Mary Aderemi, Kafayat Mafisere, Esther Inyang, Precious Oscar, Esther Moses, Janet Akekoromowei, Alaba Olabiyi, and Ramotalahi Kareem.
