Kehinde Osagede, Media Officer of Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin, on Tuesday, July 16, celebrated his 50th birthday in a 5-star ceremony at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (Edo Chapter) Secretariat.
The ceremony was filled with fun and merriment, a testament to Osagede’s warm and friendly personality.
The golden jubilee celebration was a fitting tribute to his achievements and contributions to the world of journalism in the state.
The highlight of the occasion was the cutting of the birthday cake which was coordinated by the chairman of Edo NUJ, Festus Alenkhe, who led other well-wishers to call P.E.A.C.E before the cutting of the cake, followed by the “Happy Birthday To You” song.
Congratulations poured in from friends, family, and colleagues, wishing Osagede a happy 50th birthday and many more years of success and happiness.
The event was attended by dignitaries, including the Chairman of the Sports Commission and Permanent Secretary, Yussuf Alli, and Emmanuel Igbinosa.
Others were top functionaries of the Edo NUJ who trooped out in their numbers to celebrate a devoted member of the Union.
Amongst those who shared good testimony of Kehinde Osagede include the Chairman, Edo State Football Association, Fred Newton, colleagues from various media houses who also joined in the celebration, honouring Osagede’s milestone birthday.
The celebration however is expected to go down into the late part of the night with a planned “Afterparty” by the friends of the celebrant.
