The Nigeria Senior Men’s Cricket Team, the Yellow Greens, continued their dominant form at the Nigeria Cricket Federation Oval 1, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, securing a comfortable 9-wicket victory over Sierra Leone in their fourth game of the T20i tournament.
After suffering a 36-run defeat to Nigeria on Friday, Sierra Leone was expected to return with a new strategy to challenge the hosts. However, their hopes fell through as the Atlantic Coast nation struggled once again, extending their losing streak to four consecutive matches.
Nigeria won the toss and opted to bowl, a decision that paid off as they dismissed Sierra Leone for 95 runs in 18.5 overs.
The Yellow Greens delivered an even stronger performance in the second innings, confidently chasing down the target with 98 runs in just 11.2 overs, losing only one wicket in the process.
Rahmon Alli was named the Most Valuable Player after an outstanding batting display. He marked his 100th career four in the match and went on to score an impressive 64 runs off 34 balls, including 7 fours and 2 sixes.

With this victory, Nigeria remains at the top of the standings with four wins from four matches. Rwanda follows in second place with two wins and is set to face Zambia later today.
The Yellow Greens will next take on Zambia at 2 PM Nigerian time on Monday afternoon.
