Centre of Excellence —Lagos is once again poised to host another exciting football tournament as organisers unveiled the Lagos Supremacy Cup 2026, a scouting competition aimed at identifying premier football talent.
The tournament, operating under the theme “United by Passion, Crowned by Glory,” will assemble eight elite clubs competing for championship honours and regional recognition.
According to the official announcement from organisers, the event will take place from November 9th to 12th, 2026, at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, with daily matches scheduled between 7am and 2pm.
The eight competing clubs include 36 Lion FC, Beyond Limits FA, Atlantic Selected FC, Collins Edwin FC, Edo Selected FC, Ikorodu City FC, Badagry Selected FC and Bariga Stars FC.
The Lagos Supremacy Cup is committed to delivering excellence through rigorous organisation and compelling football competition for scouts, spectators and industry professionals.
The tournament, which typically draws a minimum of eight international scouts, is being organised by 36 Lion Investment Limited alongside Diamond Sports Management, Elenko Sports, International Football Management & Marketing (IFMM) and additional stakeholders dedicated to youth football development in Lagos.
In remarks representing the organising committee, Wale Joseph explained that the Lagos Supremacy Cup was established to provide a rigorous competitive environment for grassroots-level clubs to demonstrate their capabilities and strengthen community bonds through the sport.
“This represents far more than a standard tournament. As the epicentre of Nigerian football, Lagos deserves to reclaim its championship status. The Supremacy Cup will offer emerging athletes visibility, enable clubs to measure their competitive standing, and deliver four days of exceptional football entertainment. Our collective passion will lead us to glory,” Wale Joseph remarked.
Ikorodu City are defending champions of the Lagos Supremacy Cup.
