ValueJetCup organizers have announced increased prize money for the participating Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clubs in the upcoming off-season tournament.
Eight NPFL clubs, including CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup campaigners, are expected to take part in the second edition from August 4th to 10th at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.
In a statement released on Saturday afternoon, Chairman of the organising committee Otunba Tade Azeez revealed the enhanced revenue share for the clubs, with each participating club earning N500,000, while the winner will receive N2 million. The second and third-placed teams will also get improved amounts of N1.5 million and N1 million, respectively.
