In a conversation with the chairman of the organising committee, Mr Aituari Igbenidion, he said that Edo State is known as the home of sports in Nigeria and to keep up with that name there is a need to continue to raise talents in the state, especially grassroots talents, hence the need for the organisation of an event that will birth, groom and showcase emerging and established talents in almost all sporting activities.
