Following her astounding exploits at the recently concluded 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe was duly honoured by the Abia State Governor Mr Alex Otti at the State Government House yesterday.
The 22-year-old Benfica Femininé who featured in all four appearances for the Super Falcons at the Mundial tournament, was elated about the meeting on her Instagram handle, with a picture of her presenting the Nigeria women’s national team jersey with her signatory name and number to the Governor and his wife Mrs Priscilla Otti during the visit.
“Exciting day in the heart of all the Abians worldwide. Am thankful to God for making it a success to meet with his excellency Govenor Alex Otti and his wonderful wife Mrs Priscilla for the huge warm reception at the governor’s mansion in Isialangwa Abia State.
