Bendel Insurance’s matchday 6 fixture away to Doma United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has been rescheduled as communicated by the league organisers on Tuesday, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
The reason for the postponement as cited by the league organisers; the Nigeria Premier League, was because of logistics reason.
Originally set for Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe state, the match will now take place on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, at the same venue. The league management cited logistics issues as the reason for the postponement.
Bendel Insurance will now shift their focus to their upcoming matchday 7 fixture against Remo Stars, scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, Benin, with a kick-off time of 4 PM.
Last time, Bendel Insurance and Remo Stars clashed at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, it ended 3-0 in favour of the Benin Arsenal. Imade Osarenkhoe, Sarki Ismael and Austin Ogunye were on the scoresheet to give Odigie’s side a comfortable victory.
