Lagos Supremacy Cup Begins kicks off with 15 goals on Day 1

The Lagos Supremacy Cup kicked off on Tuesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos with 15 goals scored in six matches.

The opening game saw Triple 44 play out a 2-2 draw against Imperial. It was a keenly contested affair as both teams battled for victory under the scorching sun in Lagos. In other games, Mavlon, Broad City, and 36 Lion secured victories as the tournament kicked off, entertaining enthusiastic fans with a day full of action.

Joel Ashuku scored twice for Imperial in the thrilling encounter against the Ibadan-based team. Rahmon Olawale and Ifeoluwa Adewale found the net for Triple 44.

Dosu Joseph Football Club held Ikorodu City to a 1-1 draw in a game that intensified in the final 10 minutes. Olowu Seun canceled out Al Ameen’s opening goal.

Mavlon exhibited superior quality, securing a 2-1 win over Dino SC. Charles Agada netted the opener, Hassan Agbede equalized for Dino, and Imrana Mohammed scored a late winner.

Broad City emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Corinthians. Isa Muhammed played a pivotal role as 36 Lion secured a narrow 1-0 victory over FC Bethel. Elsewhere, DN10 and SGFC Athletics settled for a 1-1 draw.

The action at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena continues on Wednesday with six more thrilling games scheduled.
