Ahead of the Yucateco Pan-African Boxing Championship in Togo this weekend, last season’s most valuable boxer of the Yucateco boxing league Abdurama Addulwahab, says he’s set to conquer Africa.
Wahab who is described as the next Efe Ajagba of Nigerian boxing based on his bullish fighting style, said he has set his sights on returning back to Nigeria with the Pan-African title. The 63.5KG YBL Light Welterweight Weight Champion will lock horns against “Glele Adonai”, the current national champion of the Benin Republic.
“I am very confident of my abilities, though I haven’t seen any clip of my opponent yet, but I make bold to say that he won’t last three rounds against me”

There are Eleven (11) other bouts on the card of the Yucateco Pan-African Amateur Boxing Championship, with pugilists from Togo, Ghana, Benin Rep, Mali, Guinea, Niger, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Cote d’Ivoire, and Nigeria squaring up for the YPABC belts on offer.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, at the Togolese National Boxing Gymnasium Lycee D’ Agoe Lomé.
