Akwa’s abysmal attack failed us – Fatai Osho

Akwa United coach, has blamed his attackers for match day two goalless draw against Sporting Lagos at the Nest of Champions, Platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

The Promise keepers were held to a goalless draw by the Noisy Lagosians in a match delayed for 15 minutes because of heavy downpour. Akwa United had a lot of chances to score but failed to convert any.

Speaking after the game, Fatai Osho expressed his disappointment in the quality of his team’s attack.

“It was a one-sided game. Our attack let us down, we have to work on the quality of our attack. It’s painful creating four glorious chances in your attack and you can’t convert from them. It’s unbelievable.

“It’s unfortunate our attack let us down. Our attackers lacks awareness of what to do with ball. You should not be missing one-on-ones. The quality of our attack is abysmal.”

Akwa United brought in 23 players in the last transfer window.
