Catholic Church honours Pharm Linda Iboi with Episcopal Medal Award

Seasoned pharmacist, Mrs Linda Iboi has been feted with the Episcopal medal honour for her immense contribution to the growth of the Catholic church in Edo State and her spirit of giving to humanity.

Pharm. Linda was amongst over 100 personalities honoured by the Catholic Men Organization of Nigeria (CMON) at the 2022 Annual Thanksgiving/Evangelization Fund Raising Ceremony held at the Archdiocese of Benin City, St Patrick Catholic Church, Ugbowo, on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

The Deputy Director, Flowell Pharmacy and Shopping Mall, at the end of the award ceremony, thanked God for the recognition which she said was odd for her as she didn’t see that coming. The soft-speaking woman of virtue noted that she believes this is a reward from God.

“I feel elated and grateful for the recognition, especially in the house of God – it is odd to have this kind of recognition because I usually don’t like publicity in Church activities, not for any reason, I just believe that every reward comes from God.”

“It’s to our benefit and for the benefit of His creation and we do all that without expecting a reward, now that we have been recognized, to God be the glory and I pray He gives us the grace to have strengthened faith in him, trust in him and let our faith be more strong so that we do more to fulfil the purpose of evangelism.”

“The men who are the priest, and representatives of Christ in the family have called us out today to say we are worthy of this recognition; it’s not by power or by might, but by God’s spirit, I’m grateful,” the medical therapist quipped.
