In a five-goal thriller, the University of Benin Staff team were able to score more, netting three against Benin Recreation Club in a game that had fans on the edge of their seat. A sweet comeback orchestrated by UNIBEN ensured the team booked a place in the semi-final.
UBTH 0-1 Uwa All Stars
UBTH bowed out on Tuesday evening to Uwa All-Stars as they failed to score in a 1-0 defeat. Despite finishing top of Group D with maximum points, UBTH could not continue with their fine group form in the knockout stage.
