Confident Namo FC Coach Eyes Osayi-Samuel U13 Final Place

The 2nd Bright Osayi-Samuel U-13 Football tournament climaxes with Namo Football Club and the other three teams contending for a place in the final, and teams are talking tough ahead of the crackers.

The semi-final pairing has Namo Football Club squaring up against Okuta Football Club in what promises to be a fight of little warriors. Namo FC, one of the highest-scoring sides, meanwhile, is confident of booking the final slot. Speaking exclusively to platinumnewsng.com, the side’s coach, Austine Ogieriakhi, expressed confidence in his team’s ability to conquer the semi-final encounter against Okuta FC.

“I don’t think I have any fear. There’s no fear at all as the game of soccer is about wins, draws, and losses.”

Speaking on the possibility of defeating his opponent, he echoed that he doesn’t have any doubt or fear in his team as they would not let errors set in but perform better than their 6-2 annihilation of Unique Light FC in the quarter-finals while saying they will give their very best just as every other team will in the semi-finals.

Ogierakhi also extended his heartfelt gratitude to Bright Osayi Samuel and his family for the second edition of the U13 tournament in his statement.

“I want to sincerely appreciate Bright Osayi Samuel for putting this together and engaging our kids in Edo State, I also appreciate the family of the host. The family has been a backbone.”

He added by commending the efforts of the Edo State Football Association stating that the FA is doing a great job in terms of organisation.
