Falconets star. Flourish Sabastine has now completed a move to French D1 Arkema side, Stade de Reims from Nigeria Women Football League side, Bayelsa Quenns, Platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
The 19-year-old who arrived France on Monday, successfully passed her medical examinations and signed a two-year contract with Stade de Reims on Friday.
During her time with Bayelsa Queens FC, Sabastine won three titles in just two years. She now arrives at Reims with a focus on her development, saying, “I want to continue to improve in technical, physical, and tactical aspects.” She said after inking her contract.
Sabastine is also committed to the team’s success, stating, “I want to contribute to the team’s results.”
The former Edo Queens player gained recognition during the last FIFA U20 World Cup by scoring the only goal in the match against France.
She will wear jersey number 22 at her new club and reunite with her Falconets teammates Tosin Demehin and Rofiat Imuran, both of whom joined Stade de Reims last season.
