Operating under the fast-paced FIBA 3×3 format, the Nigerian contingent showcased sharp shooting accuracy and solid perimeter defence to reach the 21-point victory threshold with 1 minute and 36 seconds remaining on the game clock.
Backed by the preparation organised by the National Sports Commission (NSC), the players translated the high morale of the Games Village directly onto the court.
The team maintained a steady offensive pace throughout the matchup, effectively managing their foul count while capitalising on the Cayman Islands’ defensive errors to secure the win.
