Katsina State Government Dissolves Katsina United Management

The Katsina State Government has dissolved the current management of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Katsina United, effective immediately, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

The decision was officially communicated through a press release, as signed by the State Sports Commissioner, Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, dated October 11, 2023.

This decision, according to the release, is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to reconstitute and revitalize key government institutions, with the aim of enhancing service delivery.

As a transitional measure, the release also announced the appointment of an interim Management Committee to oversee the affairs of the Club while awaiting the appointment of a substantive management committee. The members of the interim Management Committee are as follows:

1. Alhaji Kabir Danlami Rimi (popularly known as KADMASH)
2. Gaddafi Muhammad Rudwan
3. Aminu Abdullahi Leno
4. Abubakar Sani

The outgoing management of Katsina United Football Club has been instructed to promptly hand over all Club assets and related responsibilities to the interim Management Committee.
