The MTN CHAMPS Ambassadors are set to ignite enthusiasm in cities including Benin City across the nation by sharing their own journeys of development, motivating schools to actively participate, and encouraging students to wholeheartedly engage in athletics.
This seven record-setting rising stars includes a Lead Ambassador, three City Ambassadors representing key locations, and three Academy Ambassadors who have distinguished themselves as top alumni from Making of Champions in Lagos.
Leading the charge as the MTN CHAMPS Lead Ambassador is Udodi Onwuzirike, who boasts an impressive track record. Onwuzirike clinched the 2023 NCAA 200m Championship title, holds the distinction of being the fifth-fastest 20-year-old of all time in the 200m (19.76s), and secured the 2021 World U-20 Championship over 200m.
Joining him are three MTN CHAMPS City Ambassadors, comprising two males and one female athlete. These outstanding individuals are Usheoritse Itsekiri (representing Benin), Nse Imaobong (representing Uyo), and Enoch Adegoke (representing Ibadan).
The roster also includes three MTN CHAMPS Academy Ambassadors across all four locations, featuring two male and one female athlete.
