Milan Signs Swiss Forward Noah Okafor from Red Bull Salzburg



Italian football giants AC Milan have secured the services of talented Swiss forward, Noah Okafor, from Red Bull Salzburg.


The 23-year-old has signed a lucrative five-year contract, keeping him at Milan until June 30, 2028.


Noah Okafor’s journey to prominence began at Basel, where he emerged from the youth ranks and made his professional debut in 2018. During his time with the Swiss club, Okafor showcased his goal-scoring abilities, finding the back of the net seven times in 54 appearances.


His performances did not go unnoticed, as he made a high-profile move to Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020. With Salzburg, Okafor continued to impress, scoring an impressive 34 goals in 110 appearances. His contributions were crucial in securing four Austrian Bundesliga titles and three Austrian Cups for the club.


Milan’s interest in the Swiss forward was well-founded, given his remarkable growth and development in Salzburg. The transfer announcement was made on the official Salzburg Twitter feed, where the club thanked Okafor for his immense contributions and wished him the best as he embarks on a new chapter with one of the world’s biggest football clubs.


Okafor’s talents were not limited to the club scene alone, as he also made his international debut for Switzerland in June 2019, during a match against England. Additionally, his crucial goal for his country secured Switzerland’s qualification for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
