Coach Mbwas Magnut has faulted the bad roads in the country as a contributing factor to Plateau United 1-0 loss to Bendel Insurance in matchday three of the Nigeria Premier Football League at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
Plateau United fell to their second loss of the season by a lone goal, with Tamimu Benjamin converting from the spot early in the 15th minute. The Tin City boys, however tried to find their feet in the game, unfortunately their attacking spells could not yield a goal.
Speaking after the game, the coach of Plateau United, Coach Mbwas Magnut praised his side for their performance but also added that bad roads attributed to their loss.
“My team is improving from the last game. We are improving from the lapses, you could see the circulation of the ball on the pitch.
“The players gave their best. Travelling to play during the weekend, considering the bad roads, we are humans and it affects.” He said.
Plateau United will host Sunshine Stars next weekend in the NPFL. Speaking ahead of the game, Magnut had this to say.
“The league is a marathon race, we need to gather maximum points”
