NPFL24: Bayelsa United departs Yenagoa for Kaduna via train



Ahead of the Prosperity Boys matchday four challenge in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) against Niger Tornadoes, Bayelsa United set out on Wednesday via train,departing from their base in Yenagoa to Kaduna, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

The Diepreye Tiebowei tutored boys, are en route to the northern city through a unique mode of travel – the train. Their destination is the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, where they will lock horns with Niger Tornadoes in a tie scheduled for Saturday.


The decision to choose the railway as their means of transportation is the first, the NPFL is seeing in recent times.

Bayelsa United fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Remo Stars last weekend and will hope to get the crucial point away from home. Niger Tornadoes on the other hand, lost to Enugu Rangers 2-1, away from home.
