FC Dallas defence marshal Osaze Urhoghide has expressed his desire and availability to represent his fatherland, Nigeria if called upon at any time soon.
The 24-year-old strong and talented defender who previously played for Celtic in Scotland, has reportedly informed family and friends of his readiness to join the Super Eagles when the opportunity comes.

Known for his defensive prowess and counter-attacking ability, the Benin boy Urhoghide is often compared to legendary Austin Eguavon.
His versatility allows him to play various defensive roles, including defensive midfield.
With the Super Eagles’ defensive line facing stability issues, particularly with captain William Troost-Ekong’s advancing age and Samuel Ajayi’s injury-prone nature, Urhoghide’s inclusion could provide a valuable boost to the national senior team.

Born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, the 6’2 centre-back is eligible to play for the Orange Boys of Netherlands, the Three Lions of England and his country of origin, Nigeria.
The Edo-origin player who has represented England in terms of nationality, signed his first professional contract in 2018 with AFC Wimbledon and has since played for top European teams like Celtic, Oostende FC and Amiens Football Club of France before moving to FC Dallas in the United State.

He has since featured in all eight games of his side in the new MLS season, sitting alongside his team with 7 points behind table toppers, Vancouver Whitecaps.
