Paulson Football Club goes head to head with NAMO Football Club as the Dcn. Agenmonnen U15 Football Tournament climaxes Tuesday September 23, 2025 at the Lucky Igbinedion Football Centre, Benin City.
The Eight-Team tournament initiated to honour Deacon, Dr Vincent Agenmonnen (MFR) 80th birthday, is a talent discovery and campaign against social vices amongst teenagers who can explore their skills in a more productive way.
The final kicks off at 3 PM at the Chief Lucky Igbinedion Sports Centre, Oti Hotel Etete, GRA Benin City
The tournament has seen fireworks all through with 8 teams jostling for the star prize and bragging rights in the state —now two teams left to vie for the coveted trophy.
NAMO football club and Paulson football club will be meeting for the second time this tournament, after meeting in the first match of the tournament.
Paulson FC Road to Final
The Andrew Ataru boys picked maximum points against NAMO Sports Academy with a 2-1 edging to place themselves in a comfortable position. The team went on to beat Ine Stars and Ogbomo FC in the second and third game respectively, to book a semi final sports unbeaten.
Paulson grew stronger and went on to humiliate Edo Young Stars Football Academy by 3-0 to book a place in the final.
NAMO FC Road to Final
NAMO FC lost to Paulson FA in their first match by 2-1 and picked themselves up immediately, going on to beat Ine Stars and Ogbomo FC, 1-0 respectively to book a place in the semi final as a second placed team in their group.
The Austin Oghieriakhi led team, courtesy their position earned a date with Rockers Footballer Club in the semi final, doing well to best their opponents 2-0 and set a tournament rematch with Paulson in the final.
The final promises to be fireworks as top dignitaries and football stakeholders are expected to grace the final.
