Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu was among eminent personalities who graced the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly in Abuja this Tuesday, with the election of presiding officers of both Chambers.
The Deputy Governor, a former member of the House of Representatives was in attendance to solidarize with his colleagues during the inauguration.
Shaibu who was in high spirits was seen exchanging banters with his former colleagues, shook hands and warmly embraced Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District and former two-time Governor of the Edo State.
Shaibu’s action can best be described as a classic display of political sagacity – that in politics, there is no permanent friend or permanent enemy.
