The newly-promoted Nigeria Premier Football League outfit, Sporting Lagos has confirmed the acquisition of a former Akwa United coach for undisclosed negotiations.
Edward Green joined the Lagos-based club side before the announcement of a new date for the upcoming league season, however, he was said to have spent five years as the assistant to the Head Coach of the Promise Keepers.
The UEFA-C licensed gaffer and now an additional expert to Paul Offor is expected to assume duties with immediate attention in the club’s preseason tour.
Edward, however, had also taken charge of the Akwa United U-15 prospects at the last edition of the NPFL-La Liga U15 Promises during his time with the former club.
