With a few weeks to the start of Arsenal’s campaign in the 2022/23 WSL season, the club has today added to the depth of their squad with the complete signing of Lina Hurting.
The 26-year-old who has played for clubs across Sweden and Italy is coming with enough years of experience.
Lina arrived at London Colney to have a view of her new home and was presented with jersey number 17; in her first interview after the signing, the former Linkopings player said she has always been interested in English football and expressed excitement to finally join an English club with a lot of good players; skysports.com reported.
Lina Hurting started her senior career with Gustats Golf before joining Umea Ik in 2012. In 2017 she moved to Linkopings where she helped the team to the Damavsvenskan title. She further joined Juventus in 202 where she won two Serie A league titles, two Italia super cups and one Coppa Italia.
She represented her country in the later stages of the women’s Euros and is prepared to get started for Arsenal.
