Granada Club de Futbol of Spain has announced the signing of 18-year-old Nigerian striker, Eghosa Augustine Bello from Benin-based Nigeria Nationwide League side, Rolly football club on a three-year deal, Platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
The Spanish Segunda division side unveiled the lanky forward on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 afternoon with jersey number 9.
After massively influencing Rolly FC to emerge as the 2021 Benin City Youth league champions, the 18-year-old has had enough time with his new team in the preseason to show what he’s made of, his high performances have made clubs in Spain wear a frightening mood, sighting him as a potential super danger man.
‘Egho’ as popularly known, emerged highest goals scorer at the 2021 Egharevba Charity cup with 8 goals, scoring 4 goals in a match against Dynamo Sports Club in the group stage.
6 feet and 4 inches tall, Eghosa with a modern goal poacher’s attributes – dangerous in front of goal, speedy, a good player on the air, strong on the two feet and strong on the ball – has been tipped as the next nightmare for defenders in the division.
In a phone conversation with platinumnewsng.com after his announcement, the Benin descent said it is a dream come through for him to have signed for the club.
