Bendel Insurance football club of Benin defender, Tanimu Benjamin has been called up by the coach of the team, Salisu Yusuf for the upcoming Paris Olympics playoff bid for March 2023.
The Olympic Eagles will be matching up against Guinea on March 22, 2023, at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, in the first leg of the playoffs.
Benjamin, a solid central back for the Benin Arsenals has helped his team kept seven clean sheets from nine games so far in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season, a feat that has seen the team remain the only unbeaten side in the abridged league this season.
Tanimu Benjamin earned his first international call-up back in 2020 under coach Ladan Bosso and has again been selected by Coach Salisu Yusuf amongst the 30 players invited to camp.
