Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu, has congratulated Catholic Priest, Rev Fr. Andrew Obiyan, on his silver jubilee priestly ordination anniversary.
Rev. Fr Obiyan who is the Parish Priest of St. Francis Catholic Church, Benin City, is one of the six priests to be celebrated by the Archbishop, Catholic Archdiocese of Benin City, Most Rev Dr Augustine Obiora Akubeze, as part of activities to mark his 25th priestly ordination anniversary.
In his congratulatory message he personally signed, the Deputy Governor stated: “It is my utmost delight to celebrate you on this momentous occasion of your 25th Priestly Ordination Anniversary”.
“I am proud to say that over the years, you have remained consistent as a charismatic and fiery preacher of the undiluted word of God”.
“Your humility, personal dignity and spiritual insight, coupled with the grace of God have all combined to distinguish you as an accomplished Soldier of Christ”.
“Permit me to place on record to the glory of Almighty God that, your personal life and ministerial calling, have transformed the lives of many and impacted positively on institutions”.
“As you celebrate this glorious feat, l join family members, friends, associates and catholic faithful to specially thank God for the gift of your eventful life to the catholic church and humanity in general”.
“May Almighty God who gives every good and perfect gift continues to bless you with His anointing in good health, sound mind and longevity”.
