Today, the 15th day of September 2022 marks a significant milestone in the life of Comrade Maryann Philip-Shaibu, wife of Edo State Deputy Governor as she marks her birthday anniversary.
Hers has been an eventful journey through planet earth on account of God’s abundant grace and overflowing mercy.
Over the years, she has proven to be a dependable wife and loving mother whose support for her husband, children and family members has been tremendous.
Indeed, many who have crossed her path will attest to her simplicity and humble disposition as a bridge builder, role model and humanist. Her political savvy is legendary. She always stands in the gap between her husband and the staff of the Office of the Deputy Governor. A disciplinarian, yet, full of human kindness; indeed, she is a mother figure to all.
Maryann Shaibu’s antecedents as a student union activist and former Vice President of Auchi Polytechnic Student Union Government are worthy of praise.
Her academic and professional training as a chartered accountant, have all combined to make her a distinctive and distinguished personality. She has been a strong pillar of support in the political journey of her husband, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu, the workaholic Deputy Governor of Edo State.
As she adds another year today, may God Almighty continue to bless her endeavours in good health, sound mind, long life and prosperity.
